Prepare for murderous pandemonium with Ken Ludwig’s comedic mystery, The Game’s Afoot, showing Febriary 15-23 on the Thomaston Main Stage.

The 2014 Season will start off with a comedy, A GAME”S AFOOT by Ken Ludwig, showing February 15, 21, 22 @ 8pm and February 16 & 23 @ 2pm. From the master of mayhem comes a glorious 1930s style whodunnit, with plenty of double-cross, gunplay, lies, deceit, and disguise! 1930s actor William Gillette, world famous for his stage persona of Sherlock Holmes, invites colorful characters to his eccentric Connecticut castle for the weekend. The festivities turn deadly when one of his guests ends up stabbed. Gillette must don his Holmes persona, sidestep danger, navigate his own secret passages and unmask the culprit’s murderous romp. Billed as a comedy thriller you will find yourself swept along for a wild and funny ride!

Eric Wilczak will direct the stage comedy with a cast comprised of local talent, including David Macharelli playing the role of William Gillette and most recently seen as Fred Gailey in Miracle on 34th St, Jane Coughlin who is happy to be back on the TOH stage, as Martha Gillette, Frank Beaudry as Felix Geisel and a WCSU Theatre alumna, Janice Connor, a native of Suffolk, England, as Inspector Goring, Morgan Morse as Simon Bright and recently seen in LCT’s 2013 production of Les Misérables, Meghan Rickard, a TOH newcomer, as Aggie Wheeler, returning after a long hiatus, Shannon Sniffin as Madge Geisel, Nicole Thomas, a TOH stage veteran and volunteer, as Daria Chase.

Tickets are $23.50 for adults and $19.50 for seniors and students.  All seats are reserved.

Subscriptions are available for Landmark Community Theatre's 2014 season at the Thomaston Opera House. Subscriptions offer the best seats available at the lowest prices. Subscribers may make all of their performance selections at the time of purchase or as the season progresses.
