The 2014 Season continues with The Buddy Holly Story. Come audition for this rock and roll musical on Monday, June 23rd 2014 7pm – 10pm & Tuesday, June 24th 2014 7pm – 10pm @ LCT Center Street Studio, 9 Center Street, Thomaston, CTIan Dietrich will direct the production with AJ Bunell directing music. The show will open on September 20th and run through October 5th, 2014 for a total of 8 performances.All roles are open for audition. OPEN AUDITION, appointments reccomnded. Additional audition times may be arranged if needed. Please bring piano sheet music and be prepared to sing no longer than one minute of a (fully memorized) musical selection from the 1950's that showcases your vocal range. An accompanist will be provided, so please highlight your selection. Songs from Buddy Holly are welcome. NO a-cappella singing and NO instrumentals on CD, Tape, i-Pod, MP3 Player or digital recorder.

About the musical: The Buddy Holly Story relives the three years in which Buddy became the world’s top recording artist. The show features over 20 of Buddy Holly’s greatest hits including “Peggy Sue”, “That’ll Be The Day”, “Oh Boy”, “Everyday”, “Maybe Baby”, Ritchie Valens’ “La Bamba”, and the Big Bopper’s “Chantilly Lace”. The incredible legacy of the young man with glasses, whose musical career spanned an all-too-brief period during the golden days of rock ‘n’ roll, continues to live on in Buddy.
