Open Auditions - VERONICA'S ROOM
Landmark Community Theatre holds auditions a mystery thriller,  VERONICA”S ROOM, at the Thomaston Opera House. 

Landmark will hold auditions for a Script Tease production, Veronica’s Room by Ira Levin and co-directed by Colleen Renzullo & Ingrid Smith on Sunday August 2nd from 7:00pm-9pm & Monday August 3rd from 7pm-9pm at the Arts Center Theatre of the Thomaston Opera House, 158 Main Street, Thomaston CT 06787. The production will run October 16, 17 @ 8pm and October 18 @ 2pm.
This chilling mystery thriller by the author of Rosemary's Baby explores the thin line between fantasy and reality, madness and murder. Students Susan and Larry find themselves as guests enticed to the Brabissant mansion by it's dissolute caretakers the lonely Mackeys. Struck by Susan's strong resemblance to Veronica Brabissant, long- dead daughter of the family for whom they work, the older couple gradually induce her to impersonate Veronica briefly to solace the only living Brabissant, her addled sister who believes Veronica alive. As Susan dons the vintage clothes of Veronica, the lines between fantasy and reality begin to blur.
Casting requirements call for 2 male roles ages ranging from 20’s to 60’s  & 2 female roles ages ranging from 20’s to 60’s. Both older male & female roles require the use of an Irish accent. Auditioners will be expected to read from the script of the role for which they are auditioning.
